Spotted Bear Creek Ranch Lodge is a small ranch located in West Central South Dakota in the heart of the Cheyenne River Drainage. This area is considered prime deer hunting country abundant with both Whitetail and Mule Deer herds.
We offer both 1×1 & 2×1 Archery and Rifle guided Whitetail and Mule Deer hunts for fair chase free range deer. We only admit a select few hunters each year to harvest trophy deer on our 1,200-acre ranch. Each hunt is customized to each hunter, and we take a maximum of two hunters per party. Only one hunt party is on property during your hunt. We do not have multiple hunters at the same time. This means the entire property is available to you during your hunt! We primarily hunt from 10′ high, heated, elevated blinds strategically located where we know the deer move. This allows for shots often times within 10 yards.
If you desire a spot and stalk hunt we can do that also. The terrain is rugged and requires that you be in good physical health. There will be a lot of walking in some steep draws and thick cedar groves. Getting close enough for a shot using this method is very difficult in this country, especially if there is snow on the ground!
